The Full Story — Inner Stride Official
Made By People Who've Had To Rebuild.
My name is Lonnie Bunch, and I'm a recovering addict. As of today, I've been sober for almost six years.
That sentence used to be the hardest thing in the world for me to say out loud. Now it's the thing I'm most proud of — and the reason Inner Stride exists.
Where It Started
Addiction doesn't announce itself. It creeps in quietly, takes everything it can, and leaves you wondering how you got so far from who you were supposed to be. I know that feeling. I lived it for years.
Recovery wasn't a single moment. It was a thousand small decisions — to get up, to ask for help, to keep going when every part of me wanted to quit. It was hard. It was humbling. And somewhere in the middle of it, I found something I hadn't felt in a long time: purpose.
Why I Built This Brand
Inner Stride wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built in the quiet moments of rebuilding a life — when you realize that the setbacks don't define you, the stride forward does.
I wanted to create something that spoke to the people still in the fight. The ones in recovery. The ones sleeping on the streets. The ones who feel invisible. I wanted every hoodie, every tee, every piece we drop to carry a message: You are not done. You are not forgotten. Keep striding.
Every design we create is intentional. The words on our gear aren't just graphics — they're reminders. For the early morning when it's hard to get out of bed. For the moment you almost give in. For the day you need someone to believe in you when you can't believe in yourself.
Bigger Than Clothing
From day one, Inner Stride has been about more than what you wear. A portion of every purchase goes toward supporting those battling addiction and homelessness — because I know what it means to need a hand up, not a handout.
By the grace of God, I found my way out. Not everyone does — and that's not because they didn't try hard enough. Sometimes people just need someone in their corner. Inner Stride is that corner.
The Stride Philosophy
Setbacks are part of the stride, not the end of it.
That's not just a tagline. That's something I had to learn the hard way. Recovery taught me that progress isn't linear, that falling doesn't mean failing, and that the most powerful thing a person can do is get back up — one more time, one more day.
That's what this brand stands for. That's what I stand for.
Thank You for Being Here
Whether you found us through a friend, a social post, or you're going through something yourself right now — I'm glad you're here. Every purchase you make helps fund outreach for people who need it most. Every piece you wear carries the message forward.
This is Inner Stride. Built by someone who had to rebuild. Made for everyone still in the process.
